It is advisable to have a separate development and testing teams as developers tend to ensure the system passes the tests and testers tend to ensures that the system breaks. There is a difference in the way a developer would test a system vs. how a tester evaluates a system.

We undertake end to end testing of products given the functional description of the product. First we come up with a set of test cases, scripts are written to automate these test cases, so that we can perform automatic testing after every round of bug fixes, and conduct a pre-deployment acceptance and conformance testing.
